A Lifetime of Creations
Over the years I have worked on a wide range of products from simple buckets and bins to housings for electronics and furniture. I’m not afraid of running out of ideas. Keeping up with current technologies and trends and being logical enough to find the right application for them is a formula I have always followed.

Furniture Design
Currently I work at Gus Modern developing furniture from initial concept sketches to production ready CAD models and drawings, as well as every step in between. During my time I have worked with many different materials and construction techniques and applied them to designs that are both ergonomic and visually impactful.
Thalia Sofa: First exploration into Italian modern design for Gus*
To keep up with shifting trends towards softer more comfortable furniture from Gus*'s main consumer base, the company needed a softer looser upholstered piece. Using the capabilities from Gus*'s Mexico factory I was able to design something that was suitable for the transitional furniture consumer while still having a heavy inspiration in mid-century modern design.

Fulton Chair: Updating an icon from Gus*
The Halifax Chair was a best selling iconic piece that has been in the Gus* collection for many years. So it was no easy task coming up with the next generation of steel frame accent chairs. The Fulton picks up where the Halifax chair left off, this time adding a more comfortable seat, built-in suspension and cushions made from ultra soft recycled PET. The design may look like a simple frame with cushions stuck on, but absolutely everything on this chair has been calculated, weighed and measured to provide the best seating experience possible

Mullholand Sofa & Chair: Mid-Century Modern with a Scandinavian Flair
The Mullholand series was designed to fill a need of creating a more trade focused product. With its tight seat and back and legs that detach for shipping it made a lot of considerations for office environments. Design wise mid-century modern was the brief but the addition of the exposed ash frame and simple shapes gave it a Scandinavian feel that worked with many different types of interior designs. The tufting pattern was also loosely inspired by 1970's sports cars.
